When I was a kid, I thought that they were the coolest thing. Apparently, kids today still feel this way.
I have a "Treasure Chest" full of stickers in my classroom. When my students fill up their home reading logs, they get to choose a sticker from the chest. It is very common for the students to dig and dig and dig through all of the stickers until they can find a "smelly" one.
This week, one little guy chose this sticker. I watched him scratch, sniff, and exclaim: "Cool! Smells just like REAL outer space!"
Too cute.
